Starting out
Do I need an existing OnlyFans account?
No. Exemplar mainly wants to work with complete beginners and creators who have started but are struggling. We can explain platform options and help set up a suitable account.
Do I need professional photographs before contacting you?
No. The first enquiry does not ask for photographs, sample content or social-media accounts.
Do I have to be nude?
Exemplar operates in adult and nude content, so applicants need to understand the industry involved. You do not have to begin nude and can discuss a gradual content plan before deciding what you are comfortable creating.
Can you guarantee that I will earn money?
No. Earnings depend on content, demand, consistency, promotion, platform conditions and many other factors. We provide production and business support but do not make guaranteed-income claims.
Who can use the service?
Adult women aged 18 or over can enquire. In-person services are offered in Scotland at our discretion. Online services can be provided worldwide where practical and lawful.
Shoots and content
Is the introductory shoot really free?
Selected applicants may normally receive one free introductory session. Exemplar provides the photography and selected edits, while the applicant normally arranges and pays for the home, hotel or other agreed location.
What do I receive after the free shoot?
Exemplar selects and edits the strongest photographs and provides watermarked finished copies. Raw photographs, raw video and unrestricted files can be purchased separately.
Do I have to publish the trial-shoot content?
No. Nothing from the introductory session is published unless you approve it, and there is no obligation to open an account or enter management.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Bringing a trusted friend or chaperone is encouraged. They can support you and act independently on your behalf.
Can a female staff member attend?
You can request a female member of the team and we will try to arrange this. It cannot be guaranteed for a free session and depends on availability.
How often do managed creators shoot?
We normally begin with one full production day each month. Additional sessions may be arranged as demand and custom-content requests grow.
Privacy and safety
Why are staff not shown publicly?
Individual staff details are not published to reduce targeting and abuse. You will be introduced privately and told who you are meeting before any appointment is arranged.
When do you ask for identification?
Only after an initial conversation, through the secure onboarding process. Identification is required before adult content production or publication but is not uploaded through the public enquiry form.
Can I stop a shoot?
Yes. You can pause or stop at any time. A session will also be stopped if anyone is impaired, pressured or unable to provide informed consent.
Will Exemplar use my content to promote itself?
Management and production agreements include defined publishing and promotional rights. The exact use is explained in writing before content is released. Exemplar may waive promotional rights in specific circumstances, but this must be agreed.
How is my content stored?
Managed creators can use secure, organised data management and backups with access limited to people who need it for the agreed work. The contract and privacy information explain retention and exit arrangements.
Money and management
Who receives the platform payments?
The creator normally receives platform earnings directly. Exemplar provides a transparent calculation and invoices the agreed percentage.
What percentages do you charge?
The typical structure is 15% for active content-production arrangements, 20% for online support and 25% for full management. A branded creator website is normally based on 15% of eligible sales through that site. Exact terms are confirmed in writing.
Are costs deducted before the percentage?
Only costs included in the agreement or approved in advance should be deducted. They are itemised in the monthly statement rather than hidden in a general expense figure.
Do I have to be exclusive?
Normally no. The agreement is generally non-exclusive, although unrelated agencies or uncoordinated marketing can make strategy, messaging and attribution harder.
How long is the agreement?
Management is normally offered on a 30-day rolling basis. The notice, content rights, account handover and data transfer are set out in the written agreement.
Who provides tax or mortgage advice?
Exemplar can make introductions to vetted external accountants and FCA-authorised mortgage advisers. Those professionals provide the regulated or specialist advice directly.
Online support
Can I work with Exemplar outside Scotland?
Yes. Online services are available worldwide where practical. In-person shoots remain focused on Scotland and are offered at Exemplar’s discretion.
Can I send raw content for editing?
Yes. Exemplar can receive suitable material through an agreed secure process, edit it, organise it and prepare or schedule it for supported platforms.
Do you only support OnlyFans?
No. OnlyFans, other established creator platforms and branded creator websites can all be considered.
When would I need my own website?
A branded subscription website is normally an upgrade for a creator already earning enough to justify its development, operation, payment and compliance costs.
